About this Position
This position is responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of OSU's network and telephone services. Additionally, this position will analyze the status of current network systems and recommend changes to improve telecommunications services and security.
Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent's salary includes additional compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and repetitive climbing of stairs and ladders. Position may also require occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
One year of network engineering experience.
Requires interaction with supervisors, colleagues, and students using clear communication, tact, discretion, and independent judgement.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Five years of enterprise network engineering experience.
