Medical Assistant - $17.00 to $19.13
Licensed Practical Nurse - $21.00 to $23.63

About this Position

As a member of the health care team, the RMA/LPN is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The RMA/LPN is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The RMA/LPN is under the overall on-site supervision of the Nursing Supervisor.    

Hiring Range: 
Medical Assistant - $17.00 to $19.13
Licensed Practical Nurse - $21.00 to $23.63

Required Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical

  Registered or Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse 

  (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

• Previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience required. 

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

• Current Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure required. 
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Driver's License 

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

• Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
• Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed.
• Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.    

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Surgery and Wound Care is preferred.  

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

• Bilingual translation skills.
