About this Position

Pay Range:
Registered Medical Assistant         $16.00-$18.00/hourly
Licensed Practical Nurse               $20.00-$22.50/hourly 

Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimal supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical

    Nursing/Medical assisting (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

  • -Six (6) months of OB/GYN clinical experience required unless internship completed in the OSU clinic system.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    -Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK by an accredited school of nursing/medical assisting
    -Current CPR certification 
    -Valid Oklahoma Driver License 

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    -Delivery of patient care and procedures
    -Medication administration
    -Triage experience
    -Direct patient care
    -Knowledge of medical terminology
    -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    -Computer literacy 
    -Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment   

Preferred Qualifications

  • -Referral/ Authorization experience
