The Medical Informatics Analyst is responsible for developing a professional relationship with users and vendors, supporting organization and user technology needs and maintaining new and current HIT applications. Must stay abreast of current health information technology trends and make recommendations to the department on products and services. This individual would also need to serve as a coach and mentor for entry level HIT staff members.
Some travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in web application analysis and development; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Basic understanding and be able to troubleshoot basic networking, desktop support issues, as well as citrix or other VDI platforms
Experience troubleshooting IOS and Android devices
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's
Experience working in a Health Care environment
Experience with supporting and implementation and development of Electronic Medical Records and Revenue Cycle Systems
