About this Position

The Graduate College seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to oversee a broad portfolio of fiscal, graduate student support, and administrative operations. This position serves as a key leader in managing the financial and personnel functions of the Graduate College, supporting approximately 17 employees, administering a $1.4 million operating budget, and coordinating university-wide programs impacting more than 1,900 graduate assistants and millions of dollars in tuition waivers, awards, and student support funding.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Accounting or business administration or a related field

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Five years of related and progressive work experience

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong supervisory skills.
  • Expertise in budgeting, accounting, payroll, and HR administration.
  • Maintains professionalism when handling complaints, disagreements, and complex situations requiring discretion and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex processes, multiple deadlines, and confidential information while serving a diverse campus community.
  • Knowledge of higher education policies, financial systems, and student support programs.
