About this Position

The LPN is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The LPN is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The LPN is under the overall on-site supervision of the clinic supervisor. 

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical

    Practical Nursing 

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • At least six (6) months of previous experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Licensed as LPN on the state of Oklahoma (you will be required to provide a current copy of LPN license if you are selected for an interview).
  • Current CPR certification 

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

The LPN will have knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.  The LPN will have excellent customer service skills and good communication skills and have the ability to multi-task while providing good patient care. The LPN will have good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed. Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) year of experience as an LPN 

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Experience with EPIC
