About this Position
GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position will facilitate learning for associate degree programs and custom training initiatives within the School of Engineering & Construction Technologies, with a special emphasis on Electrical Construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
- Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
- Five years of evidenced commercial construction industry experience. Experience in electrical controls preferred.
- Teaching experience in higher education preferred.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
- Electrical Journeyman license. Unlimited Electrical Journeyman license, preferred.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complex initiatives.
- Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary.
