Work Schedule

Hiring Range

$34,320 - $41,600

About this Position

Provide direct supervision of assigned housekeeping staff to ensure services are provided in a timely, effective and safe manner. Perform housekeeping duties that involve cleaning and sanitizing all facilities. All other duties as assigned. Must be able up to lift 75 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Four years of progressively responsible custodial or housekeeping experience, including at least one (1) year in a lead or supervisory role.

    Demonstrated experience in training, scheduling, and evaluating custodial staff.

    Proven knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, chemical handling procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment and materials.

    Experience maintaining large, high-traffic or multi-use facilities such as recreation centers, athletics facilities, residence halls, or comparable environments.

    Experience with inventory control, work order systems, and basic maintenance or repair coordination. Ability to lift up to 75lbs.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Valid driver's license

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Must be able to follow instructions concerning various chemicals and cleaning procedures. Prolonged standing and walking are common to this role. May be required to remain on campus overnight during, weather or other emergencies.
