About this Position

The Food Custodial position supports the culinary and service teams by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment for the Ranchers Club, State Room, and other Business and Hospitality dining venues. This position ensures a steady supply of clean pots, pans, dishes, and utensils needed for daily operations.

Responsibilities include operating the warewashing equipment, ensuring all items are properly cleaned and sanitized, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dish area and surrounding workspace. The Food Custodial worker is also responsible for the proper setup, operations, and shutdown of the warewashing machine.

This position helps maintain a safe and organized work area by removing boxes and refuse and following all safety and sanitation standards. The role may assist with food production support, service, or stockroom duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and to organize work and the work area for maximum efficiency is required. The employee must be able to safely operate equipment appropriate for the position and demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to basic safety and sanitation standards. High sanitation standards are expected at all times, including frequent handwashing throughout the shift. The individual must also be reliable by adhering to scheduled shifts, being punctual, and assisting with shift coverage when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months of experience in the food and service industry.
