Work Schedule

Schedule to be set based on incumbent's availability and departmental need. Work will be performed between Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. With prior notice, incumbent may be asked to work a full 8-hour shift as need arises.

$16.00 - $22.12, Hourly

About this Position

Boilerplate: The Fixed Asset Disposal Specialist provides professional and technical expertise to support enterprise technology services, ensuring alignment with OSU/A&M System goals, compliance requirements, and departmental priorities. This position is responsible for performing specialized operational, technical, or analytical tasks within the assigned domain.

Domain-Specific Insert: As part of the IT Technology Support Team, this role processes fixed asset disposal requests for EIT and supported departments as part of our endpoint management service.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Four years of related experience; OR

  • High School/GED plus two years post-secondary education and two years related experience.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of OSU surplus processing experience.
  • Experience with OSU systems or other institutional knowledge.

  • Experience with incident management systems and technical support environments.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Professional technical certifications (A+, ITIL, HDI, or others approved by management).

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Excellent working knowledge of Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS operating systems.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    High degree of critical thinking and customer service attitude.

    Ability to work well under stressful conditions.
