About this Position

The Spears School of Business is seeking a sharp, highly organized Executive Administrative Associate to support the Dean and keep the college’s leadership engine running smoothly. This role is the hub of communication, coordination, and executive operations — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and handles sensitive information with absolute discretion.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the Dean’s right hand — managing confidential materials, drafting communications, coordinating travel, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Oversee meetings and major events: scheduling, logistics, agendas, materials, minutes, and follow‑through.
  • Keep the Dean’s Office running efficiently: supervising workflows, managing calendars, and maintaining master files.

  • Provide authoritative guidance on university and college policies, responding independently to inquiries and routing information accurately.

  • Support academic processes including promotion, tenure, and faculty evaluations.

  • Jump in where needed — assisting Vice/Associate/Assistant Deans and Director of Business Operations during peak periods or absences.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • 7 years of progressive administrative support experience including 3 years of administrative support to a director level or above. Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of required experience.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Working knowledge of principles and procedures of accounting, office management, public relations, and supervisory skills. Familiarity with software and use of Outlook and calendars required. Ability to handle situations of a confidential and sensitive nature with minimal direction to maintain good public relations with a diverse public. Willingness to learn new skills, as required, to perform various tasks for the Dean. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel,

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's
