This position is an integral part of the events team, working closely with the group to plan, organize, and execute successful events. This individual will be responsible for managing logistics, vendors, and ensuring client satisfaction.
The Event Coordinator provides support to the events team in coordinating and executing various internal and external events. Assistance with such events includes, but is not limited to, providing support for any external groups renting spaces at OSU-Tulsa. Departments hosting events on campus or working with administration on hosting campus-wide events (such as commencement or other high-level events).
This position may also be called to assist with events on other campuses as needed. Some large cases may include commencement week activities, white coat ceremonies, etc.
This individual will meet with clients to discuss their event needs, setup, and day-of-event needs. This individual will serve as the point person throughout the event planning process.
This position would primarily be based in the office on the Tulsa campus but will have office hours at CHS and potentially Tahlequah, as needed.
Extensive travel, including overnight stays will be required.
