This position is responsible for the marketing and recruitment of prospective undergraduate students with a focus on first time freshman, transfer, and readmission students and assists in developing strategies to recruit and promote Spears Business to prospective students, including academically talented students and underrepresented populations. The position also assists with designing, delivering, and maintaining programs, events, and information surrounding undergraduate majors, resources, and opportunities in Spears Business. It provides all prospective student services, including major and career guidance, as well as information about the transition to OSU and Spears Business while advising prospective students on engagement opportunities within Spears Business as well as advising the Spears Business Ambassador program.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Related field

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • One year of related experience.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Valid Driver's License required

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Adept at networking and building professional relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Marketing, communications, or other business field

  • Two years' experience working in business or higher education in admissions, sales, marketing, communications or related department.
