About this Position

The Spears School of Business is seeking a dynamic and organized Program Coordinator to lead the planning, development, and delivery of executive and professional development programs across Oklahoma and beyond.

As a Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing impactful learning experiences for business leaders and organizations. You will collaborate closely with faculty, clients, and corporate partners to deliver high-quality programs that address market needs and advance the mission of the Spears School of Business.

Key Responsibilities

· Program Development & Management

Plan, coordinate, and evaluate professional and executive development programs, including one-day and multi-day events. Develop and manage program budgets, set annual goals, and ensure successful delivery through careful planning, marketing, and post-program evaluation.

· Client Relationship & Business Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, HR professionals, and training directors, particularly in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Identify market needs, propose tailored program solutions, and collaborate with faculty to design new learning opportunities.

· Innovation & Research

Conduct research on emerging business and professional education trends. Recommend and implement innovative program formats that reflect the latest industry insights.

· Community & Professional Engagement

Represent the Spears School of Business at state, regional, and national conferences. Promote outreach initiatives and foster partnerships that expand professional learning opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's

    Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Two years related experience required. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.

    Proven experience with relationship building, client management, and business development.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
    • Ability to travel regularly within the state and occasionally out-of-state.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in program coordination, business development, or related roles.
    • Familiarity with executive education, professional development programs, or higher education environments.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing innovative programs and identifying market-driven educational opportunities.
