Hiring Range

Commensurate with experience and education, up to $45,000.

About this Position

Manage, oversee, coordinate, and develop Athletic Department purchasing processes. Communicating with departments on policies and procedures regarding requisitions, processing and payments. This position is in a high volume, fast-paced environment which requires accuracy, discretionary decision making, and the ability to work independent of others.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Six years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping, purchasing, athletics, or related field. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience (1 year of education: 1 year of experience).

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Ability to interpret, understand, and implement various policies, procedures, and regulations as they pertain to major responsibilities. Ability to communicate with others. Organizational skills. Proficiency with Personal Computers and the following software: Microsoft Office Applications. Must be able to sit for extended periods at personal computer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's
  • NCAA Division I Athletics, MIP accounting, Works, OKCorral System and Banner Finance
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Professional procurement certificate Ok Corral Marshal
