About this Position

The Clinical Assistant Professor- Sports Medicine/Family Medicine position will practice in Stillwater and Tulsa Athletics.  This position is actively involved in caring for student athletes and teaching fellows and residents in an ambulatory sports medicine setting.  Appropriate effort and activity in clinical research and service will also be necessary as well as a clinical record of sufficient depth to qualify for faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor.  The position will work with OSU Professional Services, LLC, OSU Medical Center, and OSU-CHS.

Required Qualifications

  • M.D./D.O. Doctor of Osteopathy or Medical Doctorate; Sports Medicine Fellowship.  (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

Eligibility for licensure in the state of Oklahoma, Board Certification in Sports Medicine,

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. The position requires strong analytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, and advanced problem-solving skills. Computer skills are needed to operate electronic medical records. Good communication and leadership skills are a positive.  Interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with faculty, students, clients and providers.
