About this Position

The Claims Revenue Specialist will work in a team environment to accurately track clinic revenue. This position resolves issues routed to credit work queues, assist with revenue entry into the EMR System, processes departmental deposit information, reconciles patient accounts, interprets insurance EOBs, and works on ad hoc projects as needed. 

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
    • At least 2 (two) years of experience in data entry 
    • At least 2 (two) years of experience in customer service

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Computer proficiency
  • Microsoft excel (intermediate skills needed)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, intellectually curious, detail oriented
  • Ability to self-motivate to complete daily tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's
    • Healthcare experience
    • Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
