About this Position

Perform major and minor maintenance and repair to facility electrical, plumbing, hot tubs, pools and spas. Repair of equipment, minor construction, working knowledge of control systems, pumps, electrical, pneumatic valves, air balance, schematics, care of artificial turf surfaces, minor welding and game day operations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Building Maintenance Mechanic I - two (2) years' experience in a building trade with a background in mechanical, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and/or electrical equipment; or the equivalent of 600 hours
    Vocational/Technical education in a related building trade field.

    Building Maintenance Mechanic II - three (3) years of prior successful work experience in a building trade with a background in mechanical, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and/or electrical equipment; and/or
    the equivalent of 600 hours Vocational/Technical education in a related building trade field plus two (1)
    years of prior successful work experience in a building trade.

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Must have a valid driver's license. EPA Universal Refrigerant License. Certified Pool Operator License or obtain within 6 months.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Knowledge of Federal and State building codes safety regulations, and workplace practices. Knowledge of Building Automation system and components. Knowledge of microprocessor-based automation system for the control of water chemistry. Knowledge of synthetic field turf maintenance. Must be proficient in MicroSoft office, WordPerfect, Outlook, and internet technology, must be able to life in excess of 50 lbs. Must be able to work game days as needed. Construction and fabrication of equipment and parts. Pool and spa water chemistry. Must be able to work in confined spaces.
