About this Position

Produce (open and closed) captioning text for videos that ITLE, OState TV, Student Services, and external clients create. Maintain communication, receivables and deliverables of all videos for Captioning Services. Distribute captioned videos to designated host sites. Oversee caption student workers. Responsible for hiring (with committee), training, scheduling, and assigning duties for Captioning Services. Responsible for video server organization and maintenance. Work on Graphic Design projects as assigned by Creative Services. Position contingent upon available funding. 

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED

    General HS studies.

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Six months of clerical/customer service experience. Post secondary education may substitute for years of experience.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Video Captioning, Basic Video Editing, Microsoft Office. Graphic Design Software (Adobe.) Macintosh Computers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School/GED
  • Eight years related experience
