$45,000 - $57,200

About this Position

Responsible for the leadership and oversight in high volume food court plus additional off-site location(s), if necessary. This position will provide the direction to improve the processes of self branded locations and follow the standards for franchise branded concepts, monitor controllable costs, build sales and create a strong customer service culture. Excellent communication skills required. Position requires attention to detail, presentation skills and excellent organizational skills. Assistant Manager must be self-motivated, show initiative, be responsible for problem solving, demonstrate strong customer service skills with a food retail background focus, and have excellent skills for training of staff. May perform management duties in absence of unit manager. This position may require weekends and late night, depending on the circumstances surrounding the various food concepts. Job may require being on feet for up to 8 - 12 hrs. per day depending on the daily schedule. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • High School/GED and two years of related work experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience. 

  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Serv-Safe within one year

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse clientele and to supervise many levels of staff with varying expertise. Position requires friendly, pleasant disposition, positive attitude, enjoy working with people and staff, and the ability to enforce policies and procedures. Passion for customer service excellence. Demonstrate good leadership skills. Experience with computerized inventory systems and point of sales cash operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Hotel/Restaurant or a related field
  • Two years experience in retail food establishments.
