As part of a dynamic leadership team within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Assistant Director of Data Analytics will assist with the supervision of the Admissions data team, which is responsible for data management, analytics, and research efforts to engage and recruit prospective students, their families and other internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Director of CRM Systems and Director of Undergraduate Admissions, this position will collaborate with team leadership to implement short- and long-term data analytic strategies to positively impact enrollment goals on the OSU-Stillwater and OSU-Tulsa campuses. The assistant director will manage and direct daily operations of the data management and analytics functions of the department, including creating robust recurring and ad-hoc report strategies, conduct independent research and analysis, and partner with vendors to align department data analysis with the goals of OSU. This position will collaborate across the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in Stillwater and Tulsa, working closely with the recruitment, communications, and new student experience teams to meet enrollment goals, ensuring quality control. Additionally, the assistant director will work closely with campus partners and other key stakeholders to elevate, align and execute the data management and analytics strategy.
Three years of professional experience in a higher education setting with project management, supervision of team experience in process management. Knowledge of data analysis and reporting and the ability to translate complex information into actionable outputs utilized by a variety of individuals.
Strategic leadership in building collaborative, outcome-focused teams to communicate goals, implement initiatives and execute communication tactics. A team-oriented attitude with attention to detail and superior organizational skills. Related work experience in project management, and demonstrated experience utilizing campus systems including ERP, CRM, and other transactional databases. Experience with data reporting tools and/or statistical software.

Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to organize and report data to align content with stakeholder needs. Demonstrated knowledge and skill to synthesize and visualize complex information in order to inform and enhance decision-making. Detailed project management experience and problem-solving skills. Must be creative, learn quickly, and adapt to quickly changing environments.
Must possess leadership and collaborative skills. Ability to establish and carry out strategies set forth by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Division of Enrollment Management. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and serve as a key member of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions Leadership Team.
Four or more years of demonstrated leadership of full-time professional staff and/or student staff, including experience managing a team and collaborating with campus partners within a higher education setting, preferably admissions or enrollment management. Extensive experience in campus systems including ERP, CRM, and other transactional databases as well as reporting tools and/or statistical software.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data analysis and reporting strategies to information department, division, and university stakeholders on admissions data and trends. Strategic planning to maximize data reporting and department needs on the collection, use, and analysis of data maintained by the department. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service to constituents through regular training, presentations, troubleshooting, consultations, and collaboration in order to enhance recruitment efforts.
