About this Position
The APP - Family Medicine will be in the Family Medicine Department. The APP is responsible for providing clinical services and care, primarily providing in-clinic and occasional telehealth care within the Department of Family Medicine. This position will facilitate care in accordance with the State of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University policies. This position is a Staff Position within the Department of Family Medicine.
Required Qualifications
Master's
Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
NCCPA certification
Nurse Practitioner certification
Required ACLS, BLS, PALS certification
Current State License with current DEA, OBNDD
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Leadership skills demonstrated by participation in local, regional, or national PA/NP programs
Familiarity with the EPIC EMR system
Bilingual skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Family medicine or Primary care preferred
