This position is responsible for certification of student enrollment and degree status, the coordination of degree clearance processes including serving as a liaison with college degree certification specialists, enforcing deadlines, processing of manual graduation applications, degree certifications and honors conferral, diploma creation and distribution and validation of credentials awarded. Coordinate documentation of policy and procedures relating to the National Student Clearinghouse data submissions and ensure all error resolutions for enrollment reporting is resolved accurately within specified deadlines. Requires a thorough understanding of Banner (or the current university student information system), a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently and in a timely manner, and an ability to participate in a team environment. Excellent organization and communication skills are essential. Requires a high level of technical competency and literacy, and the ability to use technology to streamline certification processes. Maintain collaborative work environment with various university departments. Be proactive in implementing process improvements throughout the Certifications Unit. Be a role model in the department for exceptional customer service and institutional knowledge.

Admin Supp Spclt I: Highschool and 1 year of clerical/customer service experience.
Admin Supp Spclt II: Highschool and 2 years of clerical/customer service experience.
Admin Supp Spclt Sr: Highschool and 3 years of clerical/customer service experience.
Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
Two years of clerical or customer service experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.
Proficient in various computer software and operating systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
Two years of experience with degree certification.
