About this Position

The Administrative Assistant position will be housed within the Office of Educational Development within Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS).  This position will serve as the primary administrative support for the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) at OSU-CHS. The support personnel will assist faculty, staff, and students with administrative curricular tasks as well as other administrative duties assigned by the Director of Educational Development and/or Associate Dean for Curriculum.

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational/Technical

    Associates/Vocational Degree or equivalent experience.

    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year's experience. 

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Valid Driver's License.  

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Demonstrates exceptional comfort in a PC environment, showcasing advanced technical proficiency in the latest versions of software applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and various multimedia tools (Adobe, etc.).  
  • Exhibits a willingness and capability to acquire knowledge of specialized software, such as Examsoft, Leo, Survey Monkey, and SignUp Genius.
  • Possesses strong multitasking abilities, ensuring prompt responses to faculty inquiries while managing a range of responsibilities.
  • Maintains a high standard of confidentiality, effectively safeguarding sensitive information.   
  • Displays adaptability and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and software applications as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years relevant experience
