About this Position
The Department of English at Oklahoma State University seeks applications for part-time, non-tenure-track adjunct instructors for the Fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach freshman composition or technical writing.
- Must be able to teach during the day.
- Must hold office hours and conference with students.

Required Qualifications
- MA in English or related field or at least 18 completed graduate hours in English
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Preferred Qualifications
- MA in English, Rhetoric, Composition, or Technical Writing is preferred. Related degrees in Fine Arts, English Education, and Reading/Literacy may be considered.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Experience using technology or a strong willingness to engage students through the use of technology is preferred.
