About this Position

Dedicated to improving quality of life for the people of Oklahoma through science-based information and education. The Division is comprised of the Ferguson College of Agriculture and two state agencies: the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station and the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service. The successful candidate will lead and manage the Financial Services Team as they and their staff provide financial services and complete financial related processes and tasks for specific units and departments assigned.  This individual will compile, interpret, and report financial data for the departments they serve. The successful candidate will advise the Department Heads, faculty members, and staff on the status of departmental accounts. This individual will collaborate with Department Heads on budget development and control. The successful candidate will work closely and effectively with faculty, staff, students, other Financial Services Team Managers, and staff, and other Financial and Operations areas within the DASNR fiscal affairs area.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Accounting or a related field of study (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Five years related experience.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

Valid Driver’s License

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

The candidate must be able to use Excel, Microsoft Word and learn both QuickBooks and the OSU financial system. This individual will interact daily with staff, faculty, and Department Heads of the units/departments they provide financial services to.  The successful candidate will work daily with DASNR financial personnel in Ag Hall and university personnel in Accounting and Purchasing. This individual will have regular contact with outside vendors.
