About this Position
The Academic Assistant position will be housed within the Office of Educational Development within Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS). This position will serve as the primary administrative support for the graduate colleges at the OSU-CHS. The support personnel will assist faculty, staff, and students with administrative curricular tasks as well as other administrative duties assigned by the Director of Educational Development and/or Associate Dean for Curriculum.
Required Qualifications
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Valid Oklahoma Driver's License
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
- Demonstrates exceptional comfort in a PC environment, showcasing advanced technical proficiency in the latest versions of software applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and various multimedia tools (Adobe, etc.).
- Exhibits a willingness and capability to acquire knowledge of specialized software, such as ExamN, eMedley, Survey Monkey, and Sign-Up Genius.
- Possesses strong multitasking abilities, ensuring prompt responses to faculty inquiries while managing a range of responsibilities.
- Maintains a high standard of confidentiality, effectively safeguarding sensitive information.
- Displays adaptability and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and software applications as needed.
