$40,200 - $54,600 Salary

About this Position

This position is associated with the 4-H Youth Development Department at OSU. This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing:

  • Farm to You program by organizing and scheduling venues for educational programming of youth and families. 
  • State Fairs (OKC and Tulsa) - Static exhibits, educational contests, demonstrations
  • Providing Shooting Sports contest preparations and firearm inventory
  • Organizing the State 4-H International Exchange
  • Assisting Specialists in State Office with 4-H events, document accessibility and participant travel

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Agriculture, Family & Consumer Sciences, Education, Nutrition, or closely related.
    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and to use electronic media to promote programs. 

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    • Valid drivers' license.
    • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with Assistant Director/State 4-H Program Leader, faculty and staff, State 4-H Youth Development Specialists, Extension Educators, 4-H Volunteer Leaders, and external collaborators. 
    • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate effective youth development extension activities, programming, training, curriculum materials, and assist in coordinating and establishing policies and procedures for participation.
